A program page that updates itself

Shows, presenters, the weekly grid and the daily log in one place. When a show ends, its on-demand audio is produced automatically, and your website and other channels pick up fresh data from the public API.

Presenter profiles, show banners and playlists flowing out to a website, a tablet and a phone

Sound familiar?

  • “The show moved to another day two weeks ago, but the website still has the old time.
  • “Monday morning, someone’s still cutting last weekend’s shows by hand for on-demand.
  • “Halfway through the on-demand show, there’s the full ad break.

A public API for your website and beyond

Shows, presenters, the program grid and every broadcast – audio files included – are available through a read-only API. Your website connects with an API key and only fetches what has changed since its last visit.

  • API key, IP filtering and rate limiting
  • Only the changes travel
  • Your internal system stays out of reach

The program grid: your week, true to time

Click an empty spot on the grid and the new slot is there. Weekly, fortnightly or rarer repeats, rebroadcasts, alternating-week shows. When a show changes, “Change from this week” leaves earlier weeks untouched.

  • Alternating-week shows side by side
  • Warns about overlaps, never blocks you
  • Global slots that run on every station
The weekly program grid in a time-scaled calendar view
  • A daily log that builds itself

The system generates broadcasts from the grid seven days ahead. Any single show’s title, description, image or host can be changed on its own.

  • On-demand audio, minus the ad breaks

Once a show ends, its audio is cut from the logger recording at the WEBSTART/WEBSTOP markers, converted to MP3 and uploaded.

  • Shows, entered once

Name, subtitle, description, square cover art and the default team. Every edit carries over to all broadcasts without their own override.

  • Presenters with their own profile

Title, bio, portrait. When someone leaves, you deactivate rather than delete – so past shows in the archive stay exactly as they were.

How it works

From program grid to on-demand

  1. 1Add your shows and presenters
  2. 2Build the weekly program grid
  3. 3Daily log generated automatically, seven days ahead
  4. 4Per-show overrides: a special title, image or stand-in host
  5. 5After air, the audio is cut and uploaded
  6. 6Website and other channels update from the API

What you set by hand, the machine leaves alone

The generator only fills days that are completely empty. Overrides, manually added shows and deletions stay put.

What goes out to the web

Frequently asked questions

What if a show’s audio is faulty or missing?

Replace it from the broadcast’s detail page: upload MP3, WAV, OGG or FLAC, even raw hour-by-hour recordings. The system converts, uploads and attaches them – all in the browser, from the station or from home.

We run several stations. Do shared shows have to be entered for each one?

No. A global slot applies to every station: it produces a single broadcast with a single audio file, and an edit made from any station takes effect everywhere at once.

What happens to days already generated if I change the grid?

They stay as they are, so none of your manual edits are lost – the change shows up on newly generated days. If a day does need rebuilding from the new grid, a single command takes care of it.
